Abstract. In this paper, Differential Evolution (DE) is used for the evolutionary optimization of control of chaotic delayed logistic system. The novality of the approach is that the identical selected discrete dissipative chaotic system is used as the chaotic pseudo random number generator to drive the mutation and crossover process in the DE. The optimization was performed for two types of case studies and developed cost functions.
